A buying club is a group of customers who meet Wallace Farms & Nick’s Wild Fish every month or every other month in a designated location.

They place their pre-order of beef, pork, chicken, fish, seafood, and Pastureland Butter, and pick it up during a 2-hour time period. Simply register with us and tell us which location you would like to join. Locations and dates of the pick-up will be e-mailed 1 week in advance.

Pastureland Butter

I am pleased to announce a new product to our offerings....Pastureland Butter! My family has been using this butter for the last 5 years and I can honestly say it is the best butter I've ever tasted.

This butter is from organic cows that are 100% grass-fed....no grains in the diet! And the butter is only made from spring to fall to maximize the CLA and Omega-3s. The color is a dark yellow compared to the light yellow or white butter found in most grocery stores......even some of the organic varities.

Certified Organic Chickens

Calvin Yoder from Echo Dell Farm raises certified organic chickens in the spring and fall. These broilers are frozen whole at a USDA facility in Decorah, Iowa and weigh an average of 5-6lbs each. They are raised in an open air shelter and have the ability to range outside during the day.

Calvin raises all of the grains on his farm where he currently runs an organic dairy as well. I’ve known Calvin now for 4 years and can assure you that he raises these birds with the highest care and attention to detail.

The chickens will be available year round from here on out……I may have separate packages of thighs, wings, legs and breasts in the future months.

Pork

Our pork is raised by a neighbor who has been practicing organic farming for most of his life. He raises 75% Berkshire/25% Duroc hogs on organic grains of corn, oats, barley, roasted soy, and flax seed. They are raised outdoors and on deep bedded straw and never given hormones or anti-biotics. He normally sells them to Niman Ranch, but we thought we would try to sell them local first.

Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon, Fresh/Frozen, $14/lb

The salmon is fished by a small family fishing camp off the Cook Inlet. Clean glacier-fed waters supply the perfect environment for the healthiest fish you can eat…..loaded with Omega-3 Fatty Acids. All filets are boneless, each one is between 8oz and 14oz, vacuum-sealed and flash-frozen.

Each filet is 8-14oz, there are some small bones that will pull out easily after cooking, skin-on.

Caught by the same family that provides us with the Sablefish. The filets are around 12-20oz each, Boneless and Skinless, Vacuum-Sealed, Flash-Frozen.
